​Bundled insurance refers to a combination of insurance covers within one insurance policy. This type of product gives a consumer added convenience, needs less administration and potentially delivers cost savings. Together with FijiCare, a first bundled microinsurance product was launched in the Pacific, offering term life, funeral expenses, property and personal accident cover at a standard, affordable premium. For distribution of the product across rural communities, UNCDF and FijiCare collaborated with sugarcane famer organizations and dairy cooperatives.

Bundled Insurance Product is the sole welfare initiative currently available to all active cane Growers. The package offers $4,000.00 in coverage for term life insurance and funeral benefits, $3,000.00 for house fire insurance, and $3,000.00 for personal accident insurance, bringing the total coverage to $10,000.00. With the help of Fiji Care Insurance Ltd, the Program has officially entered its eight year of operation.
